Tools & Apps
Tools are what a Teammate can do, on oship's credit. Apps are your services, on your account.
| Family | What it does | Choices |
|---|---|---|
| Search | Finds and reads the web | Exa, Exa Answer, Perplexity Search, Sonar |
| Browse | Uses websites like a person would, including the ones you connected | Browser Use × Gemini Flash or Pro |
| Think | A second model for heavy reasoning | Any Brain model |
| Code | A coding agent working in a sandbox | OpenCode, Codex, each with a choice of models |
| Image | Makes and edits images | GPT Image, Nano Banana, Seedream |
| Video | Makes videos | Kling, Omni Flash, Seedance, Veo |
No accounts to create: Tools run through oship, at provider price, shown in Usage. oship is the organization layer; the models are whichever you pick, and you can change your mind. Browse only signs into websites the Teammate has Access to.
A service you already use, connected once with your own account: Slack, Notion, GitHub, more as they roll out.
Connect once. In Settings › Apps, pick the App, choose how far Teammates may go — the sheet starts at write, never admin — and approve on the service’s own page. That choice is a ceiling: no Teammate can exceed it. Raising it later means connecting again.
Then choose per Teammate. Each Teammate starts at Off. In its Access panel, pick its level, up to the ceiling. A Teammate at read can’t see the write actions at all; they don’t exist for it. Actions that can’t be undone — a merge, a payment — are tagged; at Write they run directly.
oship is the identity. Teammates act as the oship app on the service. A pull request is signed by the oship bot, not by a Teammate account of its own.
Your bill, if any. If a service charges for what a Teammate does there, it bills your account with that service. Your oship credit only covers Brains, Tools and infrastructure. A Teammate never gets a paid seat of its own.
